This NASTY weather. I am TIRED of wind. TIRED of cold. I want SPRING! I want to be outside. Outside playing with the kids and outside taking pictures with my new 20D!
Long time, no blog! I have just been busy, I guess. Things are good.
We are doing a challenge at work called The Biggest Loser. Everyone who wanted to "play" put in $10.00 each, for a total of $250.00 and whoever looses the most % of their body weight in 8 weeks, wins all the money. I have plenty of weight to loose, so I decided to play along. I am dying to get outside and get some excersize, but the weather is horrible right now. I am very much looking forward to SPRING!
I had to take my little Deven to the doctor today, back to the ENT Doctor. His tubes should be falling out. These were the long term ones, and have been in for 2 1/2 years. Last night, he was saying that his ear was hurting, so John and I looked in there with a flashlight and could see that the tube had moved a little bit and it looked red and infected in there. Poor Little Guy! So, I went to work today at 8:00 and called the Dr. at 8:10, they said the only time they could see him this week was at 8:30. So, I called the babysitter and asked her not to put him on the bus, which comes at 8:20. YIKES! So, I ran in to town, got him and took him to the Dr. He does indeed have an ear infection in his right ear and is on an antibiotic. He was so awesome at the Dr.'s office. The nurse loved him and gave him an awesome pair of swimming goggles in a cool little case. Spoiled. I made sure I told him we were NOT going to the ear Dr. every week, so don't get any ideas! I was a proud mommy though.
In other news, The Johnson's (our babysitter) officially have a moving date. She told me today they are moving during Spring Break. Man, what a sad, sad day for Miss Ashlyn and I. What am I going to do? I am so very, very sad. It means a ton of changes coming for us. It means the kids probably not going to Rocky next year. I think that is the hardest part for me. We LOVE that school. It means trying to juggle three kids in three different directions. Madi, being in full day school, Deven in the morning and Ash not at all. I am HOPING that Grandpa will be willing to pick Deven up from school everyday and hang out with him for the rest of the day and then I will just have to worry about finding a place for Ashlyn. By then, there will only be 2 months left of school and then we will have the whole summer to figure out what we are going to do for next year.
I have more to post, but I have to go get Anouk from school.
The family is good. The kids are doing awesome, work is awesome and life is all good!
I leave you a with a picture that I took, of what we are looking forward to... Baseball season. The kids can't wait... And to me, that means SUNSHINE!
